A YOYORouter, fitted with a SIM card or a USB modem, ensures continuous access to Internet even when fixed-line broadband or public Wi-Fi hotspots are not available. This access can even be shared with colleagues and friends. If a Wi-Fi hotspot is within range then it can be accessed and shared as well. Very convenient for example at hotels and in airports!

Need a fallback to your fixed broadband connection?

If you at your destination have access to a fixed line broadband connection (Ethernet) you can use the EE1 router which doubles as both a fixed line router and a 3G router. The 3G capability may also serve as an automatic fallback solution would your broadband temporarily fail.

Want to connect other Wi-Fi enabled devices?

Existing 3G USB modems connect to computers running standard PC operating systems (typically Windows or Mac) but will normally not work with other devices like tablet PCs, portable gaming devices, game consoles, mobile phones, media players, printers etc. But, if your device is Wi-Fi enabled it will easily connect to the network via any YOYORouter!

Strengthen your position

Sometimes you may find yourself in locations where the signal strength is too weak. For example inside a building. One way is to relocate yourself and your laptop to a position where you get acceptable signal strength. A more convenient alternative is to hook up your laptop to a YOYORouter over Wi-Fi and place the router where the signal reception is optimal

A YOYORouter is ideal if you want to provide your customers, or visitors a public Internet access in a mobile environment or in a place where a fixed-line broadband service isn't easily accessed. For example in a bus or a taxi, providing access to your passengers while on the move.

Versatile with redundancy

Well connected

Truly portable, yet highly versatile and redundant wireless router that combines Wi-Fi 802.11n-lite, Wireless WAN (3G or other) and Ethernet cable connection. The EE1 is accessed either through Wi-Fi or Ethernet and it connects to Internet through e.g. an attached 3G USB Modem, through a physical Ethernet connection or even over Wi-Fi to a public or private hotspot. A large range of third party wireless USB modems are verified with EE1.

Redundancy

The built in and removable high capacity 1700mAh Li-ION battery makes the EE1 perfectly suited for mobile use, as well as redundant operation as it also serves as power backup at temporary power failures. Up to three different WAN connections ensures maximal redundancy.

Security

Computers and other devices connected to the router are secured as EE1 supports robust SPI firewall and flexible filter rules to meet  your requirements. Settings are easily adjusted by a web-based UI, which includes a backup and restore feature.

From the User Interface of YOYORouter BE5 you can at any time receive, read and edit SMS. And by connecting a regular wired telephone you can make and receive voice calls using the mobile network.

Optimal coverage

External swivel and tilt 3G antenna ensures good 3G reception. In cases of poor coverage any external 3G antenna can be attached to the  FME connector. High performance Wi-Fi is achieved by a built-in antenna.

YOYORouter BE5 is managed simply by a web interface which can be accessed from any web-browser within, our even outside the LAN. The slim design allows you to locate the router virtually anywhere, even mounted on a wall.
